TRAVEL
To reach Umhlanga, you will have to fly to Durban King Shaka International Airport (DUR).
Emirates is the only airline that offers international flights to Durban (via Dubai), and usually they are the cheapest when coming from overseas.
Flights by other airlines to Durban are via Johannesburg. The domestic flight between Johannesburg and Durban takes roughly 55 minutes.
Public transports in the area are quite limited, so you might want to rent a car. All major car rental agencies maintain a presence at the airport. However the best deals may be found here.
